Flutist, Nancy Toone, has been an active Flute Instructor and performer in Utah for many years. She currently plays in the Salt Lake Symphony as the Assistant Principal flutist, and performs as a member of the Orchestra at a Temple Square, in Salt Lake City. Her students have won the National MTNA competitions, performed as soloists with the Utah Symphony, and performed in masterclass at the Suzuki Association of the Americas Conference, as well as winning the Utah Flute Association Sonata Competition and performing on the UFA's Evening of Sonata's Concert. Her students are also performing professionally with the Utah Symphony, Ballet West, the Las Vegas Philharmonic and other well know performing organizations around the country.
She currently teaches at Utah Valley University and has also taught at Utah State University, BYU-Idaho, and Weber State University. She loves teaching in her home studio and has students ranging age from 5-55. Nancy has had the pleasure and honor of teaching at the Las Vegas Desert Suzuki Institute for several years. She loves working with the other teachers and adores the students. It will definitely be a great event this year!
