Registration Fees

Registration fees are non-refundable and are in addition to the Tuition fees listed below. They apply to Intro to Music, Beginning Flute & Piano, and the Flute, Piano and Violin programs.

  • Registration fee if paid by March 31 will be $75
  • Registration fee if paid between April 1 & May 31 will be $85
  • Registration fee if paid between June 1 & July 1 will be $95

Intro to Music

Tuition $50
* plus registration fee

Our Intro to Music Camp is a half-day camp for children ages 3-6 who have either not yet begun formal music study or have only been playing a short while. Children attend each day from 9am-12noon and receive a General Music Class, a Carnival of the Animals (Introduction to the Instruments) Class, and a Vocal Explorations Class. We do limit each class to 8 students.

These young students are invited to bring lunch to eat at noon with the rest of the students. Intro to Music Classes will perform on Thursday afternoon at 12:45 immediately following lunch.

Please note: A parent or guardian is required to attend with their child.

Beginning Flute & Violin

Flute Program

Tuition --
Books 1 & 2: $300
Books 3 & 4: $395
Advance Flute Track: $485

All flute students will receive a daily Master Class, Technique Class, Repertoire Class, Flute Ensemble (placed by level), Performance Workshop and an Enrichment Class of their choice. Flutists who own a piccolo, alto or bass flute are encouraged to bring them to LVDSI for both Technique and Ensemble classes.

All Flute Ensembles and Repertoire Classes will be performing on the Thursday Evening Final Concert. Individual parts for all ensembles will be assigned and emailed upon completed registration.

Registered flute students may audition for the Tuesday afternoon Honors Recital and we encourage students in Books 3 and up to audition for this year's Sonata Competition. Please see competition details under the "Students" tab.


Piano Program

Books 1 & 2: $300
Books 3 & 4: $395

The Piano Program is open to all Suzuki Piano students in Books 1-4, as well as non-Suzuki trained students with equivalent playing abilities. Students will attend a daily Master Class, Technique Class (Books 1&2) or Accompanying (Books 3+), Piano Ensemble, Performance Workshop, Repertoire Class and an Enrichment Class of their choice. All Ensemble Music will be assigned and emailed to students upon completed registration. The Ensembles and the Repertoire Classes will perform on the Thursday Evening Final Concert.

Registered piano students may audition for the Tuesday afternoon Honors Recital and we encourage students in Books 3 and up to audition for this year's Sonata Competition. Please see competition details under the "Students" tab.


Violin Program

Additional Enrichment Classes

$70 per class

Flute, Piano and Violin programs include one enrichment class. Additional enrichment classes may be added if desired.


Mentor Fee

Mentors $30.00 per child

All children under the age of 12 are required to have an adult/older sibling in attendance at their classes. For those younger students who must attend by themselves LVDSI is pleased to offer mentors (older music students) who will take notes and accompany them to their classes.


Sibling Discount

Sibling Enrichment Classes

$40 per class

Siblings of registered students may participate in 1 to 3 of our Enrichment Classes, at a cost of $40 per class. Enrichment-Only students do not receive a t-shirt as part of their fees. Sibling discounts do not apply to Enrichment-Only students. Percussion Ensemble students will perform as part of the Thursday night Final Concert.


Pizza & Movie Night

Spaghetti Dinner

  • $15 per person ages 6 and over
  • $8 per person under the age of 6

Any students or families who wish to eat a catered spaghetti dinner before the Final Concert on Friday night may purchase a ticket no later than Tuesday afternoon, July 9. The dinner will include a pasta dish, salad, bread, and a dessert. Dinner will be served on site. Ticket prices are $15 per person, children under age 6 are $8.

Any fees not paid by July 1 will be assessed a $50 late fee
